For proof of concept a 1.5 gallon paint bucket was used as a water vapor condensation chamber. It was later changed to a 55 gallon plastic barrel, then to the final design using 1/2 of a 55 gallon plastic barrel. The plastic barrels used for the device are common re purposed bulk food product barrels. The solar well internal components also went through a number of design / concept changes to capture and distribute the water collected from the condensation chamber.
